The Spherical Blade putters, known as "S-Blade", are both USGA and R&A rules-compliant and patented in the UK with patents pending in Europe, USA and Japan. The putters look conventional, but crucially, the face is very gently spherical in shape.The radius of the 'north-south' convex curve is precisely measured to ensure the point of impact on the ball is always just above its mid-point, or equator.This means the putter always impacts the top half of the ball to ensure immediate top over bottom roll.
This negates the skid and bobble caused by typical
flat-faced and lofted putters.
And if perfect roll is not enough ............. the 'east-west' convex curve minimises the effect of that last-second manual 'twitch' we can all suffer from. The gentle horizontal curve effectively widens the sweet-spot keeping the ball on a truer line.
The combination of the two precisely measured curves
on the putter face, which have the same radius from the same point, hence the spherical shape, make for
a much more accurate putt.
